GIVING

Our Approach to Giving

As a Restorationist church, we do not teach tithing as a binding command for Christians. The tithe belonged to the Old Covenant system, tied to the temple, the priesthood, and the nation of Israel. In the New Covenant, we see a different pattern:

Giving was voluntary (2 Cor. 9:7)

Giving was proportional, not percentage‑based (1 Cor. 16:2)

Giving met real needs within the body (Acts 2:44–45; Acts 11:29)

Giving was an act of grace, not obligation (2 Cor. 8:7)

We embrace that model. We ask our members to give cheerfully, intentionally, and sacrificially as God has blessed them. At the same time, we acknowledge that the work of the church — worship, benevolence, ministry, outreach, and maintaining a place to gather — requires financial support. Your giving fuels the mission of Christ in our community.

Thank you for partnering with us in this work.
